Since taking on the head coach role at Agoura High School, Amanda has significantly expanded the track and field program and built a competitive and supportive environment for athletes of all levels. She trains and mentors up to 225 athletes each season, consistently maintaining a 72% scholar-athlete rate.
Throughout her career, she has coached Olympic Trials qualifiers in multiple states, state champions, and multiple league champions in the 300m hurdles. Over the past seven years, her athletes have broken nine school records.
Amanda was honored to work closely with Tara Davis to help establish the Tara Davis Invitational, which has grown significantly in participation since its inception. She oversees numerous aspects of the track and field program, including training protocols, meet planning, team branding, community partnerships, and summer training camps. To support continued program growth, she has recruited and managed over 21 coaches and secured numerous sponsorships and donations, not only at Agoura but across the broader athletic community.
In addition to her work at Agoura, Amanda coaches athletes in speed, strength, and hurdle technique through her private performance training practice. She also supports athletes across multiple sports including football, soccer, water polo, swimming, dance, cheer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, and stunt, helping improve speed and technical skills. She still competes at the Masters level and has a long-standing connection to the Agoura community, with all three of her children having graduated from Agoura High School.
