Agoura Varsity Chargers Clinches Lead in Sixth Inning for Victory Over Walnut Varsity Mustangs

Agoura Varsity Chargers snagged a late lead and defeated Walnut Varsity Mustangs 5-4 on Saturday. Agoura Varsity Chargers trailed 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Joey Blank singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Walnut Varsity Mustangs scored four runs in the sixth inning, but Agoura Varsity Chargers still managed to pull out the victory. KEVIN RUBIO and ERICK FELIX all drove in runs in the frame.

Agoura Varsity Chargers got things started in the second inning when Jayden Garcia singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Jack Burke got the win for Agoura Varsity Chargers. The fireballer lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking one.
